Is this always quick enough to keep Drivers on Greens or would the Dispatchers occasionally set routes early to avoid any Yellows?

I was thinking of the Level Crossing at Abzw Dellwig on Tracks 677/676 as an example.

On an aside is this crossing supervised by Oberhausen Hbf?

I've created a new topic to avoid Google making a mess of translation, although I have noted Helmut has raised this point some time ago without any reply.

http://www.signalsoft.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=2508

Looking for guidance on how to deal with these trains and the ZNP801.

For example if I offer 063501 to Oberhuasen HBF on Track 418 (A419) using ZNP801 it is accepted.

If I then phone to offer it as Out of Gauge I'm told it can't be accepted and I respond I will phone back.

I then cancel via ZNP801 and offer by Phone and it is accepted. As Helmut points out 63501 then appears in A419 and this doesn't drop out when the train passes.

Would I be penalised if I just offered via ZNP801? What is the correct process in practice and can this be simulated?

As an aside I was a bit disappointed that my Neighbours aren't adept at holding these trains. On another session I was sending a train to Duisburg-Wedau on Track 002 and this collided with an Out of Gauge train which had't yet entered my Control Area from Duisburg-Hochfeld Süd on Track 031. Should I have asked HD to hold his train?

This doesn't appear to have been mentioned so I'm guessing it's only happened to me so far.

When I'm not using the ZNP801 train describer I get a diagonal purple line across its screen from bottom left to top right. When I click into the ZNP to offer or accept a train this line disappears but as soon as I navigate away from ZNP (click in another box) the line reappears. Is this a bug?

I've tried to post a screenshot but neither Internet Explorer nor Google Chrome will let me copy from my clipboard.

Regards,

Phil.

Hi. I received a request from engineering to earth the catenary ALL and then a track number (i think 628) was mentioned. Thinking the earthing would only affect this track i allowed it. Shortly after all the trains stopped and i got the sack.

When the engineer says 'catenary ALL' does he mean the entire catenary in the controlled tracks - so all electric trains will stop?

If this is so - what should be the procedure?

regards

I am trying to get this Lu train to go to EDHA but cannot. I have offered by phone and it is accepted. The train arrives at signal 036, just before the branch towards track 051. I try to set the route but it will not. The train number does not appear in the 051 branch box even though it was accepted by phone. I noticed in the Wiki notes ref. Lu trains the phrase - 'must be offered by telephone (in addition to ZNP 801?)' - i thought i had found the answer - but cannot use the ZNP 801 as there is no code for EDHA. Any advice please? Regards.
