Dear SignalSoft team, I'm the happy owner of a Zentrallstellwerke Köln license. However, once installed on my new laptop, it keeps saying that it is Unable to contact license server.

I see that http://licensing.signalsimulation.com/verify.php? is called with name, email, key and id arguments. If I run that in Chrome, I get <License><Permission value="Allow" /></License>, so I suppose my license is OK.

Do you know whether KK needs specific ports to be opened? Or maybe some firewall permissions?

	Thanks a lot,

	-Yannick.

Hi - hoping for some help to get this timetable underway.

I start at 05.00 12th July. On starting there are 2 trains parked in KK platforms - they have come from KKD (parking) and are heading back towards KOPL and KD at 05.10 - I 2214 and I 2445. I wait for the 'Train Ready' signal and set the routes up towards 210 and 220 - the routes set OK and greens come. But the trains never move.

I see in the Wiki that A230 and A220 are in the ZNP offering list - so i try that - offers accepted - route set - but still no move.

Help appreciated as this is my first go with Koln.

Running Timetable for 9 July 2001, at 2224hrs train 1-76354 has gone to the Betriebsbahnhof but has gone onto Track 73 instead of its booked Track 76. Now the driver calls every two minutes asking how to get from Track 73 to Track 76. I assume he eventually wants to go to Bbf R5 to stable his train so I have tried to amend the movement order from Track 76 to Bbf R5 but it will not change and the driver keeps calling in.

How do I amend movement orders within the Bbf as they seem more complicated than ordinary movement orders?

While I can understand the functionality to step in and set routes in the Neighbouring Areas if the AI Signalmen gets stitched up it does seem odd to be called for a Track Possession in an area I am not controlling.

For example I got asked to grant a possession on Track 660 with reference being made to Signal 266. I can find Track 660 but can't see any Signal Numbers on the Generic Panel View.

Might it not be better to restrict these requests to areas under control of the main panel and/or the link track to a neighbour?

I've noted the manual recommends clearing the cover signals immediately before setting the route from the Platform Exit signal.

Also noted that if you clear the cover signals and then delay clearing the Platform Exit signal that the train will not move until the latter signal is cleared.

On this basis is there any reason not to clear the cover signal once a train has come to a stand in the section of Platform you have assigned it?

What happens in real life? This might be a rhetorical question as the answer might be as per manual.

Running Zentralstellwerk Koln Hbf (the original version, not the 2012 version) with timetable dated 07 July 2001 and a time of 1050hrs, I have noticed that two trains I sent to the Betriebsbahnhof (2-76289 and 1-11496) have not disappeared despite going onto their correctly allocated tracks in the yard. They still show in the 'Train Overview' window and are also present in the 'Dark Territory' window. Has anyone eles noticed this, is it a bug?

A few minutes later at 1100hrs I have train 1-703 ready to go to the Bbf. It is booked onto track Bbf 72 but train 2-76289 is already there as it has not disappeared after being sent to the Bbf at 1029hrs. When I offer train

1-703 to the Bbf supervisor he accepts it via track 357, but it is not possible to get from track 357 to track Bbf 72. Has anyone else had the Bbf supervisor accept trains via a track from where it is not possible to get to the booked stabling track?

Hello!

I've had this problem for a while now. I've played from 00:00 (signalbox time) to 01:00 without any problems. Suddenly I got a phone from an angry train driver, telling me he has been standing at signal 173 for 8 minutes now. I set the route from 173 to 163, hoping it was just a one-off. Then he calls me again, telling me he's been waiting at signal 163 for 5 minutes.

I have no idea what's wrong. I've tried to deactivate and activate the fleeting several times now, but it doesn't work. This have happened before, and then I had to restart the simulator. Now it happened again, and I don't really want to restart the simulator every hour.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Is there something I have forgot to do?

Dear SignalSoft team,

I have tried running the application under various compatibility modes (such as Windows 7 and Windows XP SP3), to no avail.

Am I the only one with such an issue?

Hello, all,

I've just updated to v.2.3.0.60 (Sept. 15th 2011) of Zentralstellwerk Köln Hbf., and there seems to be a bug I haven't noticed on the previous version.

Steps to repro: Start a new simulation any time; create a route from signal P123 to track 141 in Hansaring.

Expected result: The route is created and signal P123 opens to Hp Clear + Vr Caution.

Actual result: The route is created and signal P123 flashes between Hp Danger and Hp Clear + Vr Caution. A train on track 123 won't proceed.

Or is it just me? Or is it something I don't quite clearly understand in German signals?

You will need Cologne version 2.3.0.20 (or newer) in order to use the new multiplayer system.
