I just noticed, that trains are coming into my control without their movement orders. I've been having to give them their orders manually, taken from the movement orders pdf.

What is going on?

I just passed midnight, could that have something to do with it?

Well continuing in my training I noticed a few odd panel issues.

1. Occasionally, and for no reason I can determine points that should go normal for a train to run through both go into double reverse forcing the train to 'wiggle' over the switch at low speed, for example I ran an IC train ES-HG switches 201 and 213 reverse instead of staying normal. Meanwhile after the train passes a Stop train goes HG-ES the switches remain normal. It would seem if it was a points failure the switch wouldn't detect and it would be stuck in one position. Hmmmm.

2. Also Amelo 203A the exit button is arrowed against the direction of travel, perhaps it should point to the dead-end.

3. At Wierden there is a switch labeled Wissel Verwarming. From a translation and my limited Dutch it seems this is a switch heater, when and how should this be operated?

4. At the very fringes of the panel there's a group of buttons that read:

Omschakelen Draaggolfapp, Herstel Commando and Controle Signalering. They seem non-functional, but what is their purpose in general?

5. Not panel related but starting on a late Sunday night I have all trains stabled in Enschede for their morning runs, with no trains on the panel or in the train list the shunt trains call over the radio for their routes into Enschede for trains not set to leave for another 12hrs, any info on that, unfortunately the save got deleted by mistake.

Hi Everyone,

Still having a great time with Hengelo, this one has really set the benchmark high as far as sims go.

One thing I would like to ask other users is what do you do with the freights bound for Almelo Yard that have no further timetabled moves or movement orders? I thought I may get a call to "lock off" the relevant section of track for the shunters to do their thing but I have never encountered this.

I have taken to giving them a new number and timetable to run to in order to "keep that freight moving "

Hi again,

Where about is signal 492? I have 59415 & 66363 complaining they are stuck at signal 492 but for the life of me I cannot find it. I suspect it is one of the spur tracks. Location is given as Aardorp.

I hope these chaps have a lunch box with them as they will be there for some time!

Hi Everyone,

Just got fired for the following reason

"You have sent train 456410 to Akzo-sp 40 without managing the stack properly".

What exactly does that mean? Must be serious.

Unemployed,

Both of these trains start from Hengelo between 4 and 5 a.m. When starting at 5 a.m. 80116 is ready to roll to Enscheide but he arrives and won't change cabs or train numbers even though orders say to do these things on "any track". I have to change the written orders in order to get them to change direction and identity in Enscheide. Also NEITHER of these guys will respond to the radio or to platform phones in Hengelo. They apparently don't want to talk to the dispatcher until they're on the platform tracks at Enscheide. Any chance these guys can get corrected in the next Hengelo Timetable release?

Thanks!

I seem to remember locomotives with the numbers 765 and 764 coming off other trains, that I would then couple up to cars with the corresponding numbers, and send them on their way. But, this time, the locos never seemed to come. So I was stuck with cars in my stations, with no locos to take them. I've looked in the timetable and the movement orders, I don't see which trains the locos are supposed to come off of.

Does anyone know.

I'm having trouble with trains that come in, and then uncouple in the station. For example, loc> 768a comes into track 6, then uncouples. His movement orders tell him to switch directions a couple times, and then couple with 768Aw. The only problem is, there is not 768Aw. So I just shunt him off into the berg, and he stays there. Meanwhile, the cars he came in with are still clogging up platform six.

This is just one example. I don't know what is going on. (I have show unstaffed trains on)

I accidentally put two locomotives nose to nose, but when I tried to tell one of them to back up, I was told that I had instructed the driver to return to a previous location without setting the opposite route.

What does this mean? How do I do that?

He's kind of stopped across a signal.

I tried setting a route in front of him, to no avail. I also tried setting the signal behind him to proceed, with the same bad result.

Okay, I'm having two problem trains that will not proceed, even though the signal in the direction they want to go is green.

Train 66576 is a through train, stopped signal 136, and Loc>D 10 will not proceed west to couple up with his train, he is stopped at signal 252, with a westbound arrow on the train monitor.

I seem to have a ghost train blocking the track. The occupation light just east of switch 91, as shown in the picture, is lit. The tracks are aligned with sp 27, so it would seem that it doesn't fit in the siding.

But, I moved the train on sp27 off it, and then back on but the light stays lit. It can't be one of the other two trains in the berg, the tracks aren't aligned with the sidings.

It's my understanding that the word tractie, written in the right most column of the timetable, means I'm supposed to send that train to one of the tracties, when it is done in my yard.

But, when I call the tractie dispatcher, I don't have the option of sending the train that is listed with tractie, 3151. What is going on?

Hi All,

Received the email with update (thanks) and information about Hengelo.

I realise there is info in the Dutch & German forums but my translator doesn't make much sense of it. I wonder could it also be added to the English forum as well please?

Also what is the process for creating new or editing existing timetables?

Can the Movement Orders be adjusted permanently as well?

thanks,

Good Evening!

I achieved "Post T Arnhem 1965" via 'signalsoft nederland' and downloaded it - after launching I switched to three o'clock (some lazy night shift for starting).

Now all got regular for about 90 minutes and now there's a complication with the shunting loc>4076:

I routed it to track 5a, where it is to turn around and head to track 23 for coupling on train 4076. I set a route with aspect running on sight with target track 23. Now the loco starts to move and comes to stop on w91 in the end (yellow light) - w91 + w97 are still locked (red lights) - the train overview states loc>4076 in 'sp23', but it doesn't couple as ordered.

Looks a bit like some kind of derailment - but the engineer won't tell me...

I can't see a wrong handling by me - can someone of the support tell whether it's a bug oder not?

Thanks in advance!

zimaz

PS: If needed, I've got a screenshot and a save from that time
